With nearly a decade of in the legal field, Jessica has earned respect amongst her peers and judges alike.
Jessica Kulpit has zealously advocated for her clients throughout Western New York including the counties of Erie, Niagara, Genesee, and Chautauqua. She is admitted to practice in both State and Federal Courts. Handling each case personally, she is with her clients every step of the way.
Jessica Kulpit is a life long resident of Western New York and graduated from University at Buffalo with degrees in English and Political Science. After finishing a college internship with Legal Aid’s Criminal Defense Unit, her desire to advocate for those charged with crimes led her to continue her studies at the University at Buffalo Law School. Her advocacy skills stood out and she traveled nationally as part of the school’s competition Trial Teams.
Over the next three years, Jessica spent most of her time gaining practical experience; interning with the United States Attorney’s Office and Attorney for the Child, Shelia Dickinson. She worked at the Law Office of Thomas J. Eoannou, Esq. from her second year of law school on and prior to her graduation she sat second chair for two homicide trials. Within a month of her admission to the New York State Bar, she tried and won a felony drug case.
Jessica is active in the community, sitting on the Boards for the Northtowns Boys and Girls Club and Damien College Paralegal Program. She volunteers, working with students at the University at Buffalo Law School’s Trial Teams. Jessica is a member of the Erie County Bar Association (participating in the Judiciary and Criminal Law Committees), the Women’s Bar Association, the Assigned Counsel Panel, the Western District’s CJA panel and the New York State Defender's Association.
Jessica was recently selected to be the recipient of the John R. Nuchereno Award for Excellence in Criminal Defense for 2017 from the Assigned Council Program of Erie County. She also has been recognized as a Rising Star in 2017 and 2018 by Super Lawyers.
